After a twenty year a hiatus from Tokyo’s menswear fashion shows, Yohji Yamamoto plans to reunite with Tokyo Fashion Week in April. According to Fashion Week Daily,  the designer will present his collection at one of the city’s historic Olympic stadiums, regardless of filing for bankruptcy protection in 2009. Yamamoto recently told WWD, “The men’s fashion is suffering in Japan, so I hope to light a fire.” We’re sure the runway will be blazing. Catch our coverage here next month.
